My UPS Dude just dropped two new 1750's, PELICAN, on the doorstep. They are the best, and since we travel for archery competitions, it will be the new bow toter. The stuff they pass as acceptable for bow cases is pathetic. Thank goodness Pelican makes the best stuff.

I agree with Pelican or Storm... I recently got a Storm iM3300 and it's the best case ever. (Same company since Pelican acquired Hardigg)

There are minor differences between Pelican and Storm.
    • The latches themselves are different, Pelican uses Double-Throw and Storm uses Press & Pull
    • Storm cases have rubberized handles, Pelican has hard plastic
    • Storm uses Rollerblade/Luggage wheels, Pelican has a shorter fatter roller type wheel
    • Storm has end latches (total of 6, 4 on the front, 1 on each end), Pelican has 4 on one side
    • Pelican has metal reinforced pad lock holes, Storm's are not reinforced

Just picked up a Pelican 1750 at Bass Pro today. It had the normal foam, not the precut, so I traced up my rifle and it fits nicely. Could have done a bit better job tracing/cutting, but live and learn...maybe I'll order a spare insert.

Seems to be a really nice case. Heavy duty molded plastic, tight latches, and a good amount of space inside. I'll click some pics when I take it to the range this week.
