For some reason it bothered me that they kept calling him the "Gun Carrying Man", I like the sound of "Armed Citizen" a little better.

OOOOOOO, lots of people hurt, gunman involved!!! We'll send over The Team immediately!!! Must get national coverage on this, show how the dirty right wing extrememist gun nut psychos intent on destroying The New America is the abomination of gun ownership!!!!! We will show how dangerous and BAD gun ownership is, remember to call everything an assault weapon!! Yes, we ARE GETTING RIGHT ON IT!!!!

Uhmmm, reports from the field show it was a legal gun owner protecting civilians from further harm from someone with a bladed weapon. Nothing to see here, nothing news worthy, must move on. Sorry to waste your time...

(Wondering if that should be in purple or green? Naaaahhh, it would NEVER go down like that.)

Still a good story, but Wtf? I've seen this story pop up literally 6 times in the past 24hrs as 'news' even though it's a year old.

Must be some kind of a national-scale necropost.

Year old, but still a nice change of pace from typical "man carrying a gun" stories that the media chooses to publish.

Just curious if the percentage of men carrying guns in Utah, who also just happen to be good guys, is higher than in most other states.
