Man I went to the mall yesterday.

From Blondie’s Cookies to the bathrooms is a long freaking shot. And there’s some pillars in the way.

Did read some reports that he rested on a pillar to take the shot.

I'm told it was a documented 41 yard shot.. At that point he moved much closer for follow up shots. Certainly not an impossible shot from a rest. For me it would be dumb luck to make that shot with sights (Eli is obviously blessed with good eyes) but with an optic certainly in the realm of possibility.

    Yeah, felt like an idiot
I can beat that....went to WV to ride trails for a week, carried my cheap 9mm....couple days left I discovered my mag had came out and got lost, thought it happened that day. Walked around, and even went on some trails where we had stopped to look for it...nothing. Got home and found mag was still in the drawer.

My thoughts are that if he wants to be left alone and out of the spot light we should allow that. He did a great service but seems to want to blend back into society as a grey man.

Maybe if more bad guys realized there are good guys that don't want the attention but will do the deed we can possibly have less active bad guys.

Ok, but a guy can dream...

At first I thought Greenwood Park Mall is the worst Indy-area mall for an active shooter to pick, but considering the guy wanted to die, it was probably the best one to intentionally have someone end him.

I said it here months ago: If you know someone you love is troubled, be sure to reach out and show them someone cares. These shooters need love and mercy before they lose all hope in life, same as other suicides.

    WTHR Interview

    Guy Relford on the aftermath.

Anne Marie was sure trying to play gotcha with some of her questioning. Even making some presumptions about Eli's actions and thought process after the fact. It's likely a good thing Guy was doing the answering for Eli. Guy handled it very smoothly.

Reminds me of why I quit watching WTHR news some years ago. :(
