Pro Publica takes an in depth look at the travesty of the airport porno scanners and how they're not safe. These things, through which humans must pass if they wish to fly, (or be physically molested by minions of the state) haven't been tested or vetted by the NRC or the FDA. The TSA did all the vetting for these machines. Will you get cancer if you allow yourself to be irradiated? There's certainly a chance, if you fly enough. These things weren't even initially meant to go into airports, but some politicians had their way, (we're looking at you Trent Lott).
