That’s so strange. Shows 5 on my end. Must of been before editing. I’ll close the shades, pour me a drink, and rock violently back and forth until I’m ready to come out a better online person. #PersonalGrowth

The gun community is full of many accepted norms. Unwritten rules if you will. I thought it would be interesting to see what others do on a regular basis that goes against popular opinion or against what is deemed “most effective “. I’ll go first. :)

    1. I sometimes carry a 22lr as my main carry gun. I’ve even used it as a night stand gun.

    2. I used to “conceal” a Glock 17 in a Blackhawk Serpa using a regular stiff belt.

    3. I sometimes carry fmj in a carry gun

    4. I’ve pocket carried an lcp without a holster and without one in the chamber.

    5. I have a favorable view of Hi-Point Handguns. The two I’ve shot were extremely reliable. :):)
    .45acp is not God's caliber.
A 1911 is not the ultimate platform.
    .223 (5.56) is a glorified varmint round.
    My opinions do not matter.

Don’t chase every piece of gear or gun that comes out. Don’t pick a firearm because of mag capacity, Realize 1911’s and DA Revolvers are still relevant it’s how the user drives it etc

In other words I wouldn’t make a good gear salesman

Yes .45 acp is God’s caliber per JMB.
1911s rule and will be here for another 100 years.
.223 is just a variant of the .222 Remington which is the more accurate round.
And yes I wish my opinions mattered more. Just ask my millennial kids. LOL

It is all good until it isn't.
All depends on how serious you are about preparing for defensive gun use.
It's okay if you don't expect the need for defensive gun use.
America is still kind of free, its your choice.
But you will have to live with any implications.
