    "Shut up" he explained.:):

And oats are wind pollinated - no bees involved.

HONEY Nut Cheerios....come up to speed. SAVE THE BEES!!!!

...but don't get the wrong idea. I like free stuff as much as the next guy.

[edit]. Scratch that. I don't want to get a bunch of e-mails and seed catalogs from Veseys Seeds or whoever else they would "share" my info with. Marketing...gotta love it.

I have a bajillion seeds I saved from my flower gardens last year so I have ignored all of these "free seed" posts about this. I also wondered just how many would be in there that would take me years of weeding to get rid of. I already have a few things I have bought at the greenhouse that looked really neat that make me wish I had never seen them.

The bees love coneflowers, sedem and so many other things I already have planted, and we seem to have no shortage of bees here. They may not all be honey bees, but we have tons of those along with mason bees and bumble bees. I would love to eliminate the carpenter bees since they do nothing but bore into our house and outbuildings. I think the mason bees do a great job of pollinating.

supposedly in Texas their female governor told people to drive down the interstate and toss out flower seeds. Then they had a lot of really nice flowers along the interstate.
