    August 28, 2010. 0900 start time.

Garand Match first, then Springfield/Military rifle match immediately afterwards. 30.06 mil-surp ammo will be issued. Just bring a rifle.

This is a combination fund raiser match.. the Ft Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol will be providing target pullers. Pit service is NOT required of competitors. Just show up and shoot.

Also, as in years past, this is also a "M1's for Vets" fundraising match.

We can accomodate as many relays of 12 shooters each at 200 yards, that show up.

For directions, go to Fort Wayne Rifle & Revolver Gun Club... Home

Bring your Garand and 1903. We will issue you ammo and a gold, silver, or bronze CMP medal if you shoot good enough with your rifles at 200 yards on the NRA SR target.

Refreshments afterwards during the awards ceremony.

This is a personal invitation to show up. I think match fee for Garand is $30 and for Springfield/Military is $20.

Come out and have a good time with a bunch of guys from all over the Midwest.

Yes, the 30 shot course is all shot at 200 yards. It starts with 5 sighters shot from prone, so even if you don't have a zero, you have 5 shots to get one.

    5 sighters
    10 shots slow fire prone
    10 shots rapid fire prone
    10 shots standing

Although with no pit changes, we may switch to the 50 shot course....

    To be determined.
