    Not sure?
I have seen it both 5.56 NATO and 7.62, but not mention Stanag. I have played with a 5.56 new model “2” in 5.56, I just want a 1st Gen and it comes in standard and RnR

Do you have a link? I didn't think they came in 5.56 AK pattern mags.

The RnL 5.56 guns were a limited run, like IWI's first-gen 5.45 ACEs.

OP, your decision should be based on what type(s) of mags you have and how many you're invested in, as well as how many more mags you think you'll need and how easy they are to come by. Personally I'd go with the RnL version because it's more authentic to original Galils, but be aware that those mags are not as simple or affordable as PMAGs.

Also, I 100% misread your username...

Okay that's pretty sexy, I gotta admit.

No real practical reason not to go with STANAG mags, unless you just really want that old school Galil vibe.
