Finally had the chance to shoot my Glock with the Silencerco Hybrid. And it was great.
If you're on the fence about buying a can, just do it. I totally underestimated the sound reduction with the hybrid. I wouldn't say it's easier to shoot because of the weight at the end of the gun, but it is certainly not any harder.
From a gun nut perspective: being able to hear the impact of your bullets against the ground/trees/etc. is amazing. There was nearly NO report from the blast. Sounded like a rubber mallet hitting wood - a light thud is it.
From a practical perspective: this is my new home defense set up. Not only being able to shoot without totally giving away your position, but also taking a shot inside without the risk of being partially or totally deaf afterward makes this a great buy.
