Whatever rifle that you want to learn to shoot more accurately.

I would add the caveat that a magazine-fed semi-auto rifle is preferable as you will be shooting an informal but timed qualification (see Rifle Qualification Test on the Revere's Riders website for more information). We can modify our line procedures slightly to accommodate a tube-fed rifle, so if that's what you have go ahead and bring it. You can use a bolt-action rifle, but you will likely be unable to get all your shots off with any accuracy unless you are very proficient (there are some that have done it, so it IS possible). Again, if a bolt-action is what you have, go ahead and bring it but just realize that in all likelihood you won't be able to "shoot a score" with a bolt-action.

The Rifle Qualification Test consumes a fair amount of the range time. That said, what's important isn't that you "shoot a score" but whether or not your marksmanship improves throughout the event with the instruction we will be providing. If you don't already have a magazine-fed semi-auto rifle and signing up for this event "scratches an itch" to get one, then go ahead. If not, bring whatever rifle you have (as long as it is safe) and we will accommodate you.
