Anyone take the plunge on getting one refinished ? Are there any color combinations that go well together? Normally I am kind of a basic Black guy. Seems like complimentary colors on the slide and frame might not be a bad idea?

Def black slide or at least black upper surface to help with sun sparkle / distortion of the sights that wreak havoc with a good sight picture.

You can go to cerakote.com and then search the gallery. It will show different people's work and tell you the colors used.

I’ve had a revolver refinished in high polish blue by fords in Florida. Outstanding work reasonably priced at the time. I think their turn time is really long now. Had a 1911 done in cerrakote elite (?) midnight blue. Looks just like blueing but much tougher.
