    The USG model has front slide serrations and a safety. The regular model does not.

    Just to add, the USG has a safety and decocker.

    Very nice guns...

    I've been looking at these too. I couldn't figure out the difference until I was at a store that had both in stock at the same time.

    The USG with the safety/decocker would be my choice. Carry SA "cocked & locked" like a 1911 or carry with the hammer down after decocking the gun and use it in DA/SA mode.

    The FNP pistols seem to be a good value and very underrated in terms of popularity. I'm really impressed with these guns.
