    It is a "Swiss Vetterli"------cal .41rf----------a firing pin that strikes the case in 2 places---
    I had one "many" years ago---found 2 boxes of Remington ammo-----I shot up about 200.00 worth of "collector ammo"

    ^ Yes, those are pretty cool. A shop way out West of Indy on US40 had one that I almost bought. It has a 12 round tube iirc. .41 cal rim fire ammo is pretty much extinct. I've heard some people convert the firing pins from dual strike to single then use some other more readily available ammo. Rifles & amo were sold by Sears way back in the day.
