Hello, I have the following rifle for sale/trade. PM here questions/pic requests. Rifle trades/sales to IN residents with valid state ID, over 18 and legal to own firearms. This rifle should be checked by qualified gunsmith for safety, not responsible for accidents. I am located in Albion and travel to Angola for work, willing to drive South of Albion about 30/40 mins.
New England Westinghouse M91 with Finnish SA mark and renumbered rear sight. No matching numbers. Really nice 1899 dated Russian stock with faint roundel visible on buttstock. Has wooden plugs/repairs from former Austro-Hungarian sling swivels. Small area of pitting on barrel and on tang under the woodline. Discreet import mark near muzzle end. Bore has strong rifling, shows lots of shine with more wear towards muzzle, would rate it at 6.5/7 out of 10. Very smooth action, should be a good shooter. Overall very good condition for a 100+ year old rifle.
Mostly looking for trades. Other interesting Finnish mosins, Spanish Civil War M91 mosins, British SMLE style rifle/No1mkIII / SHTLE, US model 1917 rifle, perhaps a French WW1 lebel or berthier
