Here are the 50 best rifles, shotguns, pistols, and handguns of all time. From the AR-15 to the Model 70, these are the greatest firearms ever.

Fairly interesting read and everyone here probably has at least one of them in there safe.

Considering the history of the 1873 and the numbers of 1894s made I would have put those up near the top, but that's just me.

My best friend has his and his fathers 99's
I want to say he has five of them.
He still deer hunts with his 284 99

I had a '35 EG in .300 Sav.
Cool.
But Id rather have a lighter version set up for scope.
Box mag .308 would be fine.

I still kick myself for passing up on buying a 99 in .308 years ago for $250.....bought a Mauser in .308 instead....

Surprised not to see 1911's, or S&W M19's, or M10's, or even Glock, Sig Sauer, Beretta, H&K,Colt SAA, Browning Hi Powers! All fine firearms.
Rifles and shotguns aplenty. Interesting.
Have owned a few on the list, Mossberg 500 is my go to Home defense choice.(add a couple handguns too). Good article.
