    Hello,

I know this has been covered before, and I searched.

It does not look like a consensus was ever reached. If it was, I missed it.

Can felons own black powder muzzleloading arms?

    How about bows? Crossbows? Slingshots?

    What's Indiana say on this?

Again, I may have missed the answer. I tried to follow several threads on this in the past, but never saw anything definitive.

Some felons in the state of indiana can own Longarms. From what i remember researching.

If they are prohibited from having arms, this means muzzle loaders also in this state. Muzzleloader = Firearm (explosion put a projectile out the barrel).

Correct, but if you stopped reading after that sentence, you may want to finish it.

It's for an old felony drug conviction and a felony for check deception.

This happened half a lifetime ago (age 19, which is the key here I think) and asked me.

I told him that I'm thinking the answer is "no", but that I'd ask the collective to be sure.

    Thank you,

    Josh
