That's a reason to not lock up all your guns.

When we watch tv/movies and someone gets away after knocking the bad guy down/out, I tell my wife make sure he can't get back up. Remove a leg or 2, then get away.

I can't tell you how many stupid movies I've seen like that, I always tell the wife if he's trying to kill you then you shoot until he's not moving! I like to reference the scene in the movie Act of Valor where they shoot the bad guy and he just keeps popping off rounds until he's dead dead!
