Fall Break 23 Year anniversary trip

So Fall break is upon us, and our anniversary. We have a Farm sitter . So we would like to get away on the short list is the Mountains or Florida goal is to relax and see the ocean. Any one have any suggestions if possible we would like to stay near the Northern part of Florida.

Destin area is nice and the weather still appears to be good. Anywhere along the pan handle for that matter.

Wherever you go, just remember it's still hurricane season and will be for another month or two. Make sure your hotel or rental allows you to change your plans in the event of a storm.

Pensacola, gulf Shores area has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Pensacola has a naval air museum. A short drive west is Fort Morgan, Alabama. Worth the drive.

Or just lay on the beach with your umbrella drink and watch the porpoises!

Outer banks of NC is a nice area. Took our kids there when they were young and was very relaxing.

This time of year, this is the risk you run with Florida. These so-called "homebrewed" storms tend to just pop up in the carribean and the gulf. You don't get the same kind of warning you do from the ones that form over by Africa and roll across the entire ocean.
