Equifax Settlement Check

Well I didn't think I would get a check, but I got my $79.31 check in the mail today. Normally I'd spend it on ammo, but what does $79 buy you now days ... box of 9's. Guess a lot of people filed for the claim. Indiana received 19.5 Million to be distributed evenly to all claimants, I was hoping for a bit more, but hey it's money.

Holy crap. I figured it would be like $0.73. I'll have to keep an eye out for mine.

Also, crap... I've moved in the many years since I filed the claim.

Did you happen to get an email in advance of getting the check? Wife got an email today about it, said she could get a check, prepaid MasterCard, or Amazon card.

No. I opted for paper check, so maybe that's the reason I didn't get an email.

I checked my emails... My claim was submitted 9/8/2019. Go to the website and it's still processing..?

I guess I'll just keep waiting...
