EOTeck Backlog

Has anyone heard why EoTech has such a back order? I ordered 4 XPS2-0's for department weapons in January and still don't have them. After calling and asking about a time frame we were told they have a large backlog of orders and cannot give us any timeframe as to when our order will be filled.

I have been after an EoTech 512 for my new patrol rifle as well. According to my LGS late last week, they are currently working on fulfilling some sort of gov't contract and there is no indication as to when they will be in...idk how much of that is true, but it's the word on the street here...

I ended up calling EoTech myself and told them of my dilemma. They put a rush on my order, after looking it up in their system. I got them yesterday with manufacture dates of 9/8/15.
