I am goinging to put up a small building with 2 roll up garage doors.

And Triying to keep it cheap and easy no electricity.

Off site storage. Every where I get a quite from want to do Installation. I would rather ntself and do it right. Not to mention that I really don't want anyone to know my business on the property.

No drive way to getting it where it is going.

Sorry to ramble. I know you guys are experienced and very capable.

Just reaching out for help if anyone knows a good place to buy a new steel kit building.

    Thanks for the help

    .

Talk to this guy. He'll sell you anything from plain metal sheet and a rental machine to form it onsite, to
formed panels and screws, to full install.

Also sells cash metal, from the yard in Putnam County. Follow their Facebook page, and they often have specials on overruns, DIY, etc.

If you can dream it up, and draw it out in your head, they can get you the parts to build it.

I purchase two metal carports from All Steel Carports, a place in Muncie. They gave a small discount, like 5% or so since I erected it myself. I picked it up there, they loaded it, and I was on my way.

I get Versa-tube ads in my social media feeds all the time. They seem to cater to the folks that want to build their buildings themselves. I don’t know anything about them other than their ads…FWIW.

Would a classic pole barn with metal roof and siding not work for your application? I guess if you're needing steel "bones" for the structure then typical pole construction isn't an option.

In was leaning more towards car port just because of cost and ease of install.

I am under the assumption the pole barn would be atleast twice as much.

    I think I can get a 22 x 20 carport from around $7000

My mom just had a two car carport, installed, for less than $4,000. I want to say 3500 or so.

Open front and back, half of the sides are covered.

Oh. I was under the impression you wanted a completed building with roof, sides, etc. If you're just needing a carport, yes, that's probably cheaper than a pole barn. I framed a 20x30 pole barn with concrete floor, hired out for the trusses and metal siding and spent ~$7000 all in.

    How long ago?
Posts, 'headband' and purlins circa 2017ish (including stone base) with trusses, bracing, metal, doors, windows circa 2018ish. It started as a simple roof over an RV and enhanced to become the pole barn it is now. The same +/- materials now (without concrete) is still under 10k per Menards kiosk. The 'crete though....
