Looks like another example of unsafe firearm handling. Those kinda hunting buddies arent good company.

It does sound like that. If that is indeed the case, its just one of the reason I like hunting alone. Regardless, it's a bad deal and I hope it all works out for both guys.

You mean to tell me that yet another firearm discharged without fingers on triggers. This is profoundly shocking. Why just the other day, INGO told me that this was not possible.

INGO wouldn't engage in argument from ignorance . . . would it???

Unloading a shotgun or rifle when returning to the truck sounds like a prudent thing to do. I don't understand how a rifle goes off on its own. It sounds like some facts are missing.

Tourniqute, Oh My Goodness, Prayers from my house for that guy! I'm thinking the DNR is asking the other guy lots of Questions. I don't Hunt anymore, but I've never been in the field with anyone that didn't make the Gun Safe when placing it in a vehicle.

.........and that my friends, is why you do not put a loaded firearm in a vehicle. I moved my truck while hunting this weekend only about 400 yards, yet unloaded completely with the magazine out.
