I see Bob about once a year or so. He will bring a light or some of his diving photo equipment into the shop for service. He has not changed in years. Very nice guy.
See old Bob all the time. He is kind of my neighbor. In the summer when we see him walking his dog, the wife can't help but holler out "Hey, it's Coooowwbboooyyy Booooobbb".
Used to creep on the chicks in the weight room at the Y.
I remember those days, I really enjoyed Saturday cartoons, Fog Horn Leg Horn and the Chicken Hawk, Roadrunner and the Coyote, Those School House Rock commercial. "Conjunction, junction, what's your function" or "I'm just a Bill, I'm only a Bill, I live on Capitol Hill". Or when MTV actually played music videos, Getting a new Rubik's cube, not being able to solve it, taking it apart, putting it back together solved and my mom thinking I am a genius. I eventually told her. THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!
I made a cameo on the Janie Show once. My summer daycare had gone to the state fair for a field trip and she was filming there. We were allowed to sit on her "set." Whether or not it was planned or impromptu, I'll never know, but it was the highlight of my childhood for a while.
Even better, the day it aired my mom had taken the day off to have a yard sale. I got to see myself on TV.
I sat in the audience at the Children's Palace grand opening somewhere or other for one of the shows, Janie I think. There was Bob, Janie, and another one, can't remember her name. My cat had kittens (once ) and we took them to a pet store. I swear two of them showed up on that show a couple of days later.
