I have been making some paracord coozies that people want to buy . It takes about five hours and $5s for material to make one. I was wondering what a fair price for this item would be.

I'd think you'd be good at $25. If you went to races or campgrounds (many say you've got to have cans and bottles covered) you could get more.

Can you post a bigger picture?

$20. I actually think you could charge more. But, the convenience of someone's impulse to pull out a $20 bill to get one would increase your sales. $25 and now people start pulling two $20 bills out and rethinking what they have left in the wallet. Can you live with selling them that low though?

5 hours?!!! Unless you really enjoy those five hours, I'd have a hard time selling them for $20. On the other hand, I don't know that I'd pay too much more for one. Although I may try and make one.

Send one to china and have them ship you back 10,000 machine-made ones for $4 each. Bracelets are darned cheap since they are machine made now.

At five hours per, it would have to be a hobby you enjoy and take pride in rather than a financial incentive. They look cool though!
