You would think that "SOB" would be the acronym for it but actually it was named for the sound that happens when you sit against a hard surface while a gun digs into your back.

I find some people's definitions of things are not the same as mine and I always want to be pretty specific ever since one poster in the first "Where did you OC today" kept posting about everywhere he OCed and later realized that an OWB holster under a shirt or jacket wasn't actually OCing

I have stated before that I carry IWB Appendix 90 percent of the time...however, I found an IWB strong side with FBI cant....I also bought pants and a couple of pairs of jeans better suited to allow the holster...what a difference! The cant helps hide the full size 1911 easily. I have been practicing my draw with this new carry. I am liking it more and more!!!

I carry with an inside waist band holster, the handle sticks out and I cross-draw. Not sure if there is a fancy name for that but people who complain about other sneaking up and taking it can't complain about me since they would have to be nearly in front of me to get it.

I'm thinking about getting a larger caliber but I'll get a hip holster with a retention if I do that.
