    Here are my favorites:

    For double stack: Glock 19, 26, M&P 9c, Ruger SR9c
For single stack: M&P Shield, Kahr PM9
For pocket/ankle carry: Ruger LCP (yeah yeah I know it's not a 9)

Honorable mention: Springfield XDSC, Walther PPS

Since few have mentioned Ruger LC9 here, wouldn't Keltec P11 be somewhat similar?
Or is it not even in the same category?

Gotta throw my typical suggestions in:

    Glock 19
    M&P 9c
    M&P Shield 9mm
    Glock 26
    Kahr PM9
    Kahr CW9
    Kahr CM9

    In that order.

Walther PPS if you want something slim, but like the compact size, not sub compact. Subcompact Kahr PM9. And as always you can't go wrong with a Glock 19, which is the biggest out of the three I mentioned.

Buds has Nanos for 379, free shipping at the moment. Looking to get one asap, partially based on such heavy recommendation in this thread.

Very good list! I either have or have had every gun on that list except the CW9 and the CM9. All great guns. Right now my primary carry is my G19, but I have a Shield that I carry sometimes. I'm also going to pick up another 9c at some point but I'm waiting for when they start releasing them with the Shield trigger.

The other gun at the top of my want list is a CZ 75 P-01.

I have a kahr P9 and I love it. Its grip is just a little longer but still easy enough to hide on my side and not be uncomfortable.

Thank you sir. I have owned all besides the Shield. Can't get one anywhere. After the new 9c comes out with the new trigger, I will sell my current 9c and buy one too. Can I buy your Shield lol?

    Not for sale :D
Don't worry, you'll find one soon enough. I think the trigger on the Shield is a step up from the regular M&P trigger and I'm not big on putting aftermarket parts in carry guns which is why I'm holding out on getting another 9c for all the M&P's to come stock with the same trigger the Shield has now.

Going to throw another vote for the Shield. Nearly sub compact size, but shoots and handles like a full size/ semi compact. Only complaints are that it's currently hard to find, as are decent priced mags right now. Oh and mine doesn't like old style lacquer coated Wolf, ran the newer polymer stuff like a champ though.
