I've been experimenting with the same heeled bullet I load in the Colt Richards as a cap and ball conical. So far so good, at 235 grains, it's way heavier than a round ball.

I used to shoot soft cast 230 grain 45 ACP round nose bullets from mine. It handled them well enough.
