Anyone know anything about these? I was on PSA's website and they were on sale for $450. It says its made by ARMSCOR (Rock Island Armory) Im relatively new to the .45 scene but it seemed like a good price?!?

    Any advice?

I have one and I love it. I'm not fond of the factory mags. Purchased a handful of Wilson 47D 8 rounders and it eats any type of ammo I throw at it reliably. The finish isn't the best, but at the price it is a really good bargain. Go for it.

It's like a Rock Island. Good solid, no frills .45. I got one and did some mods to the trigger and added some extended controls and grips. Pretty good value.

Solid chunk of steel with a reputation for reliability and budget-friendly.

Is it a show piece? No, but if you want a 1911 that'll eat whatever you throw at it, (and you don't want to feel bad when you give it the Idiot Scratch,) it'll perform admirably.
