I've got a USGI M14 bolt that some Einstein decided looked better with a hard chrome finish. I'm looking for a company that is able to strip the chrome finish from the bolt, in the indianapolis area.
    Anyone know of any?
Live already got someone to remark it and I'm not comfortable doing the acid and car battery process myself
As a side note, not looking for anyone ex girlfriend or wife...LOL:nono:

Yeah that's the issue, to replace the bolt would cost around $300. Considering the build it's going into hard chrome is not an option. When it gets to my M14/M1A I tend to be a purist as can be.

Please post the final cost when you get that chromed bolt finished back to original specs ... and some before and after pictures! This will be an interesting project to follow.
