I load .380, .9 mm, .38, .357, .40 and .44. I give the 44's a shot of lube. It feels better. I also shoot some lube in my LEE sizers each time I use them. The ONE SHOT spray lube doesn't need to be wiped off of the cases. I wish 22's were center fire.

    A lot of them are..

I can have loads of fun with .22 Hornet, .222Rem., .223Rem. and .22-250.

Once you have the brass+dies, the components are a reasonable price..Bill

Have been doing this, or similar for years..Works GREAT to help straight wall pistol cases.--Do not depend on it for bottle-necked cases..Will stick a case in the die..Bill.

I just made some of this tonight, the reloading went a bit smoother. I did notice that the brass looses some of its shine. I hope that the slight residue does not adversely effect the guns bore or chambers.

Never seen the need. I use LEE carbide dies. Smooth as silk...

    :+1:

If you have to use a lube, the only one I found that I like (and I tried several) is D.C.L. (Dillon Case Lube). I used D.C.L. for a couple years now, when sizing my rifle cases, and it works excellent!! :yesway:

    Good luck!

i wet tumble with SS pins, so just a little spritz on pistol caliber cases does the trick.
I can run them with out, but it's much smoother with a little, very little

All of my pistol dies are carbide ( or titanium nitrided) and do not require lube. That said, I do roll my 44 Mag and hot 45 Colt loads across the lube pad before sizing them. They can get through it without, but for no more than what it takes, and as easy as it makes it, why fight it? The 357 mag loads I have tried seem to be the cutoff for making much of a difference. Ive tried them both ways, and not really noticed a measurable difference.

I use Imperial sizing wax on rifle also and sometimes I use a small shot of Hornady One Shot for pistol just to smooth out the operation. Besides, it makes my dies happy happy!
