I just inherited my parent’s boat. I was wondering what the law is about carrying on a boat in Indiana lakes. No rivers that share boarders with other states…Strictly Indiana lakes. Everything I have found pertains to hunting not a licensed carrier.

When I win the lotto, I will build a lake, and YOU can come and carry ALL YOU want .....

Don't hold your breath, I have been playing for over 20 years, and haven't won YET !!!!!

I never heard of a law restricting us who have a LTCH which lakes we can and can not carry on. Only place sorta related to the topic would be No carry allowed in "Falls of the Ohio" state park. Everywhere else is a :yesway:

I seem to remember another thread about this topic. As I remember it was worded as a "loaded firearm" was not allowed. If this is true, it would seem that an unloaded firearm with the loaded magazine in a separate place would skirt the issue.

I've never carried on a boat...but it's because I've never been on a boat and not been drinking or was too young to carry at the time

Boat ramps and their parking lots are prime grounds for thieves and other malcontents. Drunks, druggies and predators abound. Just sayin'...
