That uses a removable carry handle.

The one at AR15sports uses a TRUE A2 upper and a non F marked FSB with a goverment profile barrel. A basic configuration that is actually VERY hard to find in the civilian world.

20" A2 upper assembly with 1:7 twist chrome lined government profile barrel.

My trunk gun is going to be an M4-clone with a carry handle. Complete with a 14.7" pinned-and-welded barrel and a carbine-length gas system. Always loved the looks of those and seeing as how I am already in the NFA game, there is no reason for me to SBR another just to keep it in the trunk.

I really enjoy shooting my A2ish. I do enjoy shooting iron sights, and the sights on this work pretty well. I actually qualified for the Revere Riders rifle qualifier using this gun. The A2 style sights are easy to adjust and very accurate. Here is a shot of my setup:

LOVE the carry handle.... Sights are accurate, easy to adjust, and the rifle can get banged around pretty good with no impact on them.

I recently put the carry handle back on my Windham Weaponry MPC. I decided I needed a rifle to keep up my iron sight skills as all my other rifles have scopes or red dots. I carried M16A1 and A2's in the military, so I want to build a couple retro rifles someday.

My duty rifle and back up duty rifle have detachable carry handles. I started out with an aimpoint pro then i dropped the coin on an elcan then i put a colt carry handle that i traded a guy a box of 9mm for lol I think my back up has a bushmaster carry handle on it. i love them ive been through several classes and a couple active shooter drills with them.
