As Newsweek desperately seeks to avoid both obscurity and bankruptcy, it latches onto anything that will drive click traffic. Reprinting this claptrap from the Washington Spectator is just a cynical ploy to be controversial enough to be mentioned in some newscasts and be linked on Facebook and Twitter.

I'm not even rewarding them with a click.

I'm sure I can find some nutter out there who wants to ban bananas because they talk too much, but that doesn't mean I should put it in the "news".

It's hard to believe how many dumb asses there are out there who presume to call themselves journalists, and how many once reputable sources actually hire them.

I'm thinking there ought to be a ban, yes. But not a ban on the POW MIA flag, but on Newsweek.

Lousy journalism at best. A long-winded stab at a now dead president and the poorly thought out war he waged. They should really give it a rest. The war has been over for 40 plus years now, enough!

being offended does not make one right

This is America. Here, by being offended you have assumed moral, legal, and academic superiority. I'm offended, so you must listen, agree, and not just compromise with me, but acquiesce to me. If you do not you are a bigot, and what you say is without merit.

Well ****, looks like I'm going to need a skin graft or a cover tat.
POW/MIA tat on my baçk won't be politically correct soon, I don't want to offend any pantywaste.
