    I could do this in my back yard, but I'd have to spend quite a bit more to make it attractive, because that's butt-ugly.

    It sounds pretty interesting. It completely can be done to grow your own food by farming and at that, to do year-round farming to keep the supply going. Year-round gardening doesn't even have to be that expensive, as one doesn't necessarily need a state-of-the-art laboratory to do it. Discover a lot more.

    Looks very interesting and is something to research more. If you have the digging equipment this would not be to bad to do but if you do not it would require renting some or a whole lot of hard work. But either way research is needed. Thank you for the idea :)
