Looking for recommendations for a rifle scope. My parameters are as follows:
1. $300 max price
2. Plan to use primarily on my 5.56 AR for 2 gun competition (not planning to win just do my best and enjoy) and occasionally switch it to a .308 Browning BLR for hog hunting (can't do often enough to justify leaving a scope sitting on the rifle which only gets shot a few times a year at best).
3. I really don't plan on shots past 300 yards and most often much less.
Feel free to tell me which ones you would avoid as well as ones you would recommend. Basically looking for the best bang for my limited buck. If I have left out a piece of info that would help your recommendation let me know. Thanks for your thoughts.
