I have the "Tacticool" on my Savage and love it. Fit was perfect and it feels/shoots great.

Ive got a laminated thumb hole (pepper color) I've installed them on a few different guns as well. For the price i don't think they can be beat. Depending on what you get you may need to channel for the barrel and put the finish on.

I have the feather weight thumb hole for my 700 30-06. I love it and I really love the way it feels in my hand. I had to shorten the front screw a few threads. It would hit the bolt. Mine had the poly stock. The wood stock has a shorter screw. I had to remove a little wood around the bolt handle. The paper work that came with it said it might need a little fitting.

Over all I am really happy with it.

I have bought Boyd's stocks and have been very pleased with the fit and finish. I've bought the 100% finished and inletted stocks for both, and each has been excellent.

I've had great luck with Boyd's. I did have minimal fitting issues around the safety of a Remington 700, but it took about 5 seconds with a Dremel tool to fix.
