Bobcat hit in near Alexandria

Friend of a friend posted this on facebook just a few minutes ago. I currently have no other information other than this was hit between Alexandria and I-69 on St Rd 28

yeah, bobcats dont have tails.... hence the reason they are called "bob" cats.

You realize that IDNR does not take this kinda of **** lightly? You hear about the kid in Shelby County that doctored a trail camera? Said a mountain lion was loose in area. DNR comes and so do the penalties and fines.

Funny, I just saw this on Facebook yet again. Although I do believe there are mountain loins in the area from time to time. There's not a breeding population or anything but I do believe they pass through occasionally.
