The cops at the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth are denying entry to anyone with a gun who tries to enter. This festival takes place in the Plymouth City Park. Can they do that? One guy challenged them and said it's public property they can't stop him. They told him "not this weekend" and threatened to arrest him if he didn't leave. What gives?

Hmmm...really? I have never even been asked if I was carrying. Don't advertise that you are and it should be fine.

Now the B100 Birthday Party is a completely different story. They search purses and everything. I don't go anymore.

Who runs/organizes it, and is it on city parks? I used to play baseball there as a kid in the tourney, I'd never really want to go back from what I remember of it.

It's in a city park. BUT some of the kids rides and the like are on or very close to school property. There is also parking at the High school.

We are headed down this evening for the fireworks and hot air balloon launch. I have no idea where we will be sitting and what is school property so I'll just leave it in the car.

The fireworks on Sunday night were THE best I've seen locally. Ever. Wow.

Yes it was crowded. But I'll put up with it for a show like that.

We decided to go for our sirloin tips and walleye sandwich today. Saw lots of officers and not one asked to search me! :rockwoot:

They always have the BEST fireworks...always. We didn't go last night though.

Missed it all this year. except the parade, my daughter sent me snap chats of the whole thing.

Never once have I been "searched" and I CC every time I am there.
