    In the trenches for liberty!
Great sign. Kudos to the man with the spine to display it.

    Oh just love the comments.

    Don’t forget the Weather Underground.

The difference is the Weather Underground actually had values and believed in things, while the radical rightwing extremists who advocate violence and treason today don’t believe in anything but greed, their phony “bible,” and guns.

Jesus... The comments show something pretty disturbing. Your side, our side, their side... See a pattern here? And all this time I was concerned about the UN....

Billboard Warns: “Prepare For War” Against Government
    Obama Sign on I-70

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – An unusual sign has appeared along Interstate 70 in Blue Springs.

If you are traveling in the eastbound lanes of the freeway between Adams Dairy Parkway and the Grain Valley exit you will see a sign that appears to be anti-President Barack Obama.

The sign features the hammer and sickle, a symbol of communism and insinuates that Obama will jeopardize the first and second amendments to the Constitution, which are free speech and the right to keep and bear arms.

NBC Action News reporter Sloane Heller confirmed late Thursday morning the billboard is owned by William Cody, a metro small business owner. He lives by the stadiums and works in metal fabrication.

He says he isn't necessarily anti-Obama, but is against the policies coming out of the White House.

He calls the Federal Stimulus Package a waste and is equally upset over the bailout of the Big 3 Auto Makers.

Cody says this is his first billboard and he did it "to vent." He says, "We voted for change and this is the change we got?"

Cody says he is working on another sign for the same spot. It's set to go up in December. He won't reveal the content except to say it won't have Obama's name on it.

Let us know what you think. Do you believe the sign is offensive, or is it merely freedom of speech? Please don't e-mail NBC Action News, but instead -Share Your Comments Below!

    S.E. of disorder
While driving I-44 thru Missouri last month there were several hand lettered signs along the highway all warning of Civil War II in one form or another. Remember these are a bunch of mountain men, typically short on talk and long on action. . . . . . .

Same old back and forth. People need to wake up and realize that this cycle keeps a real revolution from ever happening. Meanwhile, BOTH parties rob us blind while we bicker about our current discontent. Politicians (99.9% of them) are in it for themselves. They pick a pop party and run with it. Meanwhile, they have cocktails at there secret meetings and laugh about our general ignorance. Bush bashing...Obama bashing...it's all the same. Keep em' seperated just enough to let all the crooks take their turn at holding the reigns!

It's not the same as before. Even those that have "been there done that" say it's coming to a head. Things are not the same as before and remember that not all cycles are meant to continue on forever.
