and the 1.1 billion in weapons we are(have?)sending to Taiwan. Plus what we are spending trying to over throw Assad. The black hole that is Ukraine. Toss in any of our 6 African nation missions for good measure. May as well mention our military support of Chile(along with MANY others).

Well.. guess what's gonna happen.
Less people doing those jobs.

Well thought out.
Just like when the navy cut reenlistment bonuses. Less reenlisted. And experienced personnel left.
As an example, in my day it took $250,000 to train a nuke. And two years of training.
So, paying $14,000 for a 2 year extension was viewed as a cost effective.


Till congress got "smart" and cut the bonus.
People left.
They had to train more people, costing them MORE in the long run.
