Not out of a snub nose revolver, but I believe Bond Arms makes a Derringer that fires that round.

I’ve shot 45-70 out of a Marlin and it had a thump to it. Couldn’t imagine trying to hold on to a derringer.

    There's a utube channel called 1shot TV.
If you look through his videos you'll find one where he shoots one. It's pretty funny.

Many, many moons ago, a friend presented me with a 2- shot .38spl snub nose that I believe was made by Intratec.
It was an over/ under where the barrels swiveled out sideways to load/unload.

Every time you pulled the trigger, it felt lime someone smacked your palm with a hammer.
I got rid of it after only a half dozen shots or so.
No way I was t to hold onto a .45-70gvt with a "snub nose" barrel.

"BFR" or "Biggest, finest, revolver" is one of the heaviest revolvers out there.
Even with a 2" barrel, the cylinder alone probably weighs more than most J- frams.

Has anyone seen this? Couldn’t imagine firing a 45-70 out of a snub nose revolver.
45-70 out of my 10" bfr can be pretty wild i couldn't imagine shooting the heavy stuff out of that short of a barrel. If you get on Magnum Research custom shops website and build one to the same spec it'll run about 3k.
