Nice! I also live in Clark County and prefer to load my own. I haven't cast any lead projectiles yet but that is next on my bucket list.Thank you! I am patiently waiting for the Marlin Guide Gun to come in. That will give me a 4th 45-70 gun.
1. Original 1873 Springfield trapdoor carbine made in 1880
2. Chiappa Sharps Calvary carbine
3. The Marlin trapper
4. Waiting on the Guide Gun
I also make my own bullets. I cast my own 405 grain lead flat point bullets... in fact I just got done tonight making a box of hurt...

I gave up sex for a Marlin .45-70. For a lonnng time. Was apparently not an approved purchase. Worth every damn day of exile.44 mag has been my favorite so far. I've shot a .357 as well and it's just as cool and would be a shared caliber for you. I must admit I find myself wanting a 45-70 recently just for nostalgia and fun
that's what I did when searching for lever gun. I had 44mag revolver and decided to get matching lever gun.Went with 357 cause of multiple other 357 firearms I own. So commonality of ammos I suppose.
You can take deer with it and its fun to plink with 38.
Yup. I already had tons of 357 and 38 ammo so that's what swayed my decisionthat's what I did when searching for lever gun. I had 44mag revolver and decided to get matching lever gun.
only makes sense to get matching set!
I have matching caliber sets in lever actions guns and revolvers in:only makes sense to get matching set!
