B17 Crashes in Illinois

After going through all my Indy Airshow pics from the last 9 years, it appears that this particular B-17 never performed at it, but may have prior to that.

Does anyone know if it was one of the birds that is part of the "Wings of Freedom" tour?

Wings of Freedom Schedule - The Collings Foundation

I saw this on the news last night and was almost in tears. We just lost a piece of REAL history. I know the Windows of Freedom comes to NWI once a year and also other smaller airports around the county. I've not have a chance to ride the B17 but really want to one day.
