Just came across this one this morning:

I've been saying this since omicron was only in South Africa.

The Mrs didn't feel well Sunday night. Stayed home Monday and felt worse. Was able to get scheduled for a test Monday afternoon. Positive. I had to get the kids and stay home, too. I tried to find a testing appointment and nothing for 5 days. Finally found an at home kit, almost bought the last one.. lady said they were selling like hot cakes.

Hard to find testing quickly and conveniently, but not impossible.

And what's the prediction on who (& how) takes credit for "game over?"

Or should I say, how Biden takes credit?
Corn Pop is still practicing kung fu with his supply chain.

I've got an idea who might take credit for this....and he isn't in gov't at the moment.… …:)

It seems odd to me that people with no symptoms and are so scared would willingly hang out where you're guaranteed to have a much higher concentration of people with the virus.
Exactly. What they fail to realize is that just getting tested won't prevent them from getting the virus. You still run the risk of catching it the same as if you did'nt get constantly tested.

And I'm right there with ya, Hough. Covid endemic, here we come! Virus gonna do what virii do, mutate towards higher transmissibility and lower fatality. 'Cause what's the point of killing off yer hosts?

I'm awaiting the availability of a fully trialed attenuated/dead SARS-CoV-2 virus vaccine so that it can be administered annually with the rest of the flu cocktail *on a voluntary basis*.

I'm worried about Gort. I'm afraid of what he might do, if anything should happen to me.

    Helen:
Gort? But he's a robot. Without you, what could he do?

    Klaatu:
There's no limit to what he could do. He could destroy the Earth.

Looks like the .gov subsidy to pharmacies to allow them to sell the at home tests at reduced prices has expired now. Just saw on WTHR. Walmart raised to $18.99, Kroger to $23.99. I have no idea what they were going for before the agreement ran out since I've had no need for one.

    Never know this was a thing. I paid $150 for a 6-pack from emed.com

Old Joe, Joe stammered, uh, said it best. "We need to protect the protected from the unprotected, er protect the unprotected form the protected." Well, something like that!

All you have to do is say "Klaatu barada nikto" and he'll stop.
