These have a squirrel cage fan with ejection port block to force fresh air down the barrel for rapid cooling. Powered by two 9 volt batteries. Depending on ambient temperature, the Air Mag will reduce cooling down time from around 20 minutes to 10 minutes. Ideal for varmint & machine gun shooters.

Oh yeah... and they are $60.00 apiece....

It's only too hot when the gas tube melts! I can see the usefulness of such a thing for a varmint hunter, though I personally wouldn't use one.

Reminded me of this SKS Torture Test I saw on you tube where the SKS catches fire on the gas tube and the upper hand guard. I honestly don't know why someone would want to just tear one up, but there are a lot of crazy people out there.
