Do you think that the supply is returning or just that the market has been saturated to the point of diminished demand? Perhaps a bit of each. I know several people still wanting ARs that are willing to pay more than I would consider.

I think itll be 5-6 months before we'll see pre-Sandy Hook prices, or even close. Manufacturing distributors have been gutted by this, most reporting 3-4 months to catch up on back orders and 5-6 to stock capacity. Until they are caught up, prices will be in limbo, and probably on the high side.

I noticed this too, i think its A) people trying to make a (dishonest) buck and B) its hard to find anything; people started buying everything available not just EBRs.

I mean there hasn't been much push against ammo but it's all gone and go9ing for crazy prices if available...

You are right...seems like a panic across the board. It's pretty bad when everyone is even sold out of wheel gun ammo and .22's
I went on Cabela's website and most of their blackpowder pistols are on backorder...go figure.

Demand is down after the suckers spent their cash, and the media has generally reported that any such weapons "ban" is unlikely to occur.

I'll be happy when ammunition prices return to normal.

Come income tax return time there will be a new surge

Don't give up the pressure. Continue to right and call the government. I write to Donnelly, Carson, and Coats at least twice a week. Every Week.

A change is in the wind.....2 weeks ago Blythes in Griffith was selling Bushmasters @ 1600 - yesterday @ 1300.....the pipeline is starting to flow again and demand is subsiding. Hang on to your cash and pick one up @ 800 in another month

I disagree. I don't see them getting anywhere near that any time in 2013.

I think we'll continue to see the price pressure as well. I've been holding out for lower prices (or even availability) of a Colt AR for 2 months now with no change. Even with the recent buzz about "assault weapons" being potentially stripped out of any legislation I see no more availability.
