Built my own, sorta. Found all the parts and spec'd it. Then sent it to an SOT for the talented parts! Faster but not any cheaper, ha

Uploaded in another thread, but copied here for reference. Bought the parts for this last summer and built it (my first!) in late December. I have it configured as a late production Colt 604. This rifle was built on a blemished Brownells A1 lower and an Air Force overrun slickside upper, with a new 1x7 pencil-profile barrel, new-old-stock GI furniture from Sarco, a Colt SP1 bolt carrier group, and a DPMS lpk. As of yet, I have only run a five-round function test through this rifle, since I was preoccupied with graduating from Purdue, and then the panics put the kibosh on range time/ammo availability. I was able to recently snag some cheap 7.62x39 and a Romanian AK parts kit along with six mags, so I may be going over to the AKM dark side soon.

Not a build, sir. It is one of Monty's CM4s (the Lightweight variant). I just fine tune some stuff, especially the grip, trigger and the charging handle. I am a picky princess with all 3.
