Anyone here reloading .308 for the SCAR 17s?
I haven't bought any dies yet, because I don't know which ones to get.
How different is loading for semi-auto as compared with a bolt action?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes. I use the Redding die set. Full length sizing is required for semi-autos so only a 2 die set is necessary. I also recommend getting a Lee factory crimp die.

I reload for my HK91 and others. I use the AR series dies from RCBS.
They are a small base die and use a taper crimp that is a little more forgiving if you don't trim your brass perfect. That said I never had an issue with any other small base die set.
I use the AR series for 5.56/.223 too I really like them.

I actually have the 3 die set as when I purchased, it was the only one in stock. The one I have is # 84155.
