Ministry... IMO Industrial metal at its very best. Al Jourgenson has done a lot of great music but Ministry takes the cake with the albums "Psalm 69" and "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste".

Don't forget the Twitch album.

I used to listen primarily to Grand Funk, James Gang, and Deep Purple, then went through a prog phase (Yes, Kansas, Gentle Giant, Genesis), then Zappa, and now it's a mixture of all those, plus Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, Satriani, etc.

I like Dream Theater, but get bored listening to it pretty quickly. I get tired of the "how many 64th notes can we put in a row" contest.

I haven't the foggiest notion of who the Hell any of those people are. My tastes still trend toward The Association, The Fifth Dimension, The Supremes, The Byrds, and Booker T and the MGs.

HA!!! I actually saw two of those groups in concert.

Saying that you prefer either CCR or metal, is like saying that your favorites are Madonna and Zappa.
