    Where's the bacon?
I heard at one time that creepy Diane Feinstein had a CCW years ago. She is one of the top gun haters of all time.

Guess it's okay to defend yourself If you're in an elected office.

She still does. Not only that, it's a CALIFORNIA CCW.

This for the entity (I cannot in good conscience call that a "woman" nor even a "critter". I have too much respect for women and critters.) that once quoted on 60 Minutes that "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate- Mr. & Mrs. America, turn them all in- I would have done it." and who as recently as last year said that "I will pick the time and the place (for another AWB). No doubt about that."

Nice trigger discipline there, Dianne.. Also, fellow INGOers, note that the selector switch is not set to "safe" but to at least semi-auto.

Here's a clue: When a US Senator who wants to ban guns for Americans doesn't know as much about safety as these

    (reportedly) members of al-Queda....

We must seriously question how much credence we give her opinions.

If these young supposed terrorists are safer than she is, and we, the peaceable gun owning citizens of this country far outdistance either the children or the senator insofar as safety what exactly is her point, other than the one atop her head?

    Blessings,
    Bill

This kind of hypocrisy is the most evil. "You don't deserve the right to protect yourself, but I do."
I hear this kind of crap from people like her and it makes smoke come out my ears and foam come out my mouth. :xmad: How can they justify this kind of reasoning to themselves? Do they even HAVE a conscience?

Also, can citizens even GET a Cali CCW? :dunno: I didn't even know that was possible.

Yes, in some of the more rural counties, they can. It's all up to the local sheriff... such is the meaning of a "may issue" state.

As for the elitism of Mrs. Feinstein... She's a Senator, and the rest of us are the unwashed masses, not of the same station as she and her colleagues in the Congress. Apparently, she failed to read Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution of the United States: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And
no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall,
without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument,
Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign
    State."

    Blessings,
    Bill

Most people do not have double standards. Shocking but true. One of my favorite sayings is:

When you encounter a double standard, what you're really seeing is an unstated single standard.

I'm quite sure there's no double standard in DF's mind, or Rosie O'Donnels, or Chuck Shumer's. I'm not sure what the standard is, but I know it's there. For instance, leftist feminist groups supported Bill Clinton even after it became clear he was a serial abuser. Why? Their feminist agenda is a front for their socialist political agenda. What's the sacrifice of a few non-socialists who happen to be women?

Look at how many of the leaders who want to force your kids to go to public schools actually have their own there. But you see, their kids are special, and destined to be the elite that benevolently care for your little idiots, so they must go to a special place where they can be annointed.

Probably for the Dem senators, they believe they actually need the protection and will use it responsibly, whereas the average idiot whom they have dedicated themselves to public surface to protect doesn't have the judgement to be so entrusted. And besides, their policies benefit the masses - they're great people, don't you see - so their lives must be protected. They are of greater benefit to society than the idiots in their care, so it all makes logical sense.

After all, the sheep don't have the same priveleges as the shepherd, do they?

You see, there's no double standard at all.
